Ed Ableser has lived in Tempe for over 17 years, and he and his wife, Hilary, are very active in the community. Ed and Hilary recently welcomed their first child, their daughter Brielle. Ed received his Bachelors and Master degrees from ASU and is completing his Ph.D. in Justice and Social Inquiry. Ed sits on the board for the Boys and Girls Club and Community in Schools, and received the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Diversity award for his service to the Tempe homeless. He owns a business and works as a counselor for Ableser Family Counseling, serving families throughout Maricopa County. Ed has served as a State Senator, and is the current State Representative in District 17.
As your State Representative, Ed Ableser is a relentless consumer advocate. He has worked to regulate the predatory tow-truck and pay day loan industries. Ed has also fought against massive cuts to public education and public safety.
